Targeted Muscles
How to Perform
- 01Bar over mid-foot; hinge at the hips and grip shoulder-width.
- 02Lift your chest, flatten your back and brace your core with a breath.
- 03Push the floor away with your legs, keep the bar close and lock your hips forward at the top.
- 04Hinge at the hips and lower the bar to the floor under control.
Form Tips
- If your lower back rounds, the weight is too heavy; reduce it.
- Do not let the bar drift away from your legs; it can stay in contact throughout.
