How to Perform

  1. 01Select the assist weight (more weight means easier reps) and place your knees on the platform.
  2. 02Take a wide grip and start by pulling your shoulder blades down.
  3. 03Pull until your chin reaches the bar, then lower under control.

Form Tips

  • Reduce the assist weight a little each week; the goal is an unassisted pull-up.
  • Fully extend your arms at the bottom; do not count half reps.
